Created by Paul Merage, Merage Institute, IsraAID, and trauma expert Dr. Debra Kalmanowitz, this self-care/mental health online session provides practical strategies and useful resources to improve your emotional well-being.
The session will be led by Dr. Ilana Amrani-Cohen, LICSW, Ph.D, who has worked in the field of complex trauma and self-care for 35 years. With IsraAID, she deployed to multiple disaster zones, such as Nepal following the 2015 earthquake, Puerto Rico following 2017 Hurricane Maria, and to Chico, CA after the 2018 wildfires. She has provided psychological support to IsraAID University Fellows during their IsraAID deployments around the world.
